Fad diets promise fast results that you don’t be able to maintain for long periods of time. Macros Movement focuses on your metabolism, so you can do it effectively and sustainably. When you have a faster metabolism, your body will be able to handle more food while you get closer to your physique goals.
Macros tracking can be done via the traditional route: weighing and logging food OR going by hand-size portion and monitoring portion numbers per food group.

This is just a way to reset your proportions. How you’re eating now is not working, so you need to change your eating habits— this is a means to get there!

You only need FOUR things:
1. An open mind: This program works only if you do! If you go in with a “this is impossible” attitude, then it won’t be as effective. (But don’t worry, we have a community of women who will keep you on track and help you adjust your mindset when needed!)
2. An internet connection: This is essential for downloading your materials and joining weekly group check-ins that allow you to ask for advice, share stories and challenges, and celebrate wins!
3. A kitchen weighing scale: This will help you dial down food portions and get a sense of the right proportions based on your goals.
4. Basic workout equipment: A pair of heavy and light weights, resistance bands, and a yoga mat are all you need to get fit.
Every Tuesday at 8 pm. If you cannot attend live, the replay will be posted on the Discord app.
The magic of the program is in the weekly Zoom calls. This is where I give a lecture on a particular topic, give general directions for that week, and open the floor to questions. It will only take one hour, but that hour is always packed with information!
The more you invest time to attend the live calls, the more you’re going to learn, be more adherent to your nutrition protocol, and ultimately, be more consistent with your action steps. The results only come with consistency.
For the nutrition aspect, you’ll need a kitchen scale, weighing scale, and measuring tape.
For the workouts, you can start with a pair of light dumbbells (2 to 5 lbs), a pair of heavy dumbbells (8 to 10 lbs), resistance bands, and a yoga mat. All the workouts can be done at home.
No. The workouts will be delivered via the Trainerize app, which you can do in your own time. I prefer to do this so you can adjust your schedule depending on what is happening in your life. You will not be dependent on me to work out.
You can choose from a four-day or a three-day split. Which is better? That depends on you. I highly encourage you to choose the split that you can do consistently. So if that means you only exercise thrice a week, then choose the three-day split. But you have to make time to do these 45-minute to one-hour workouts consistently. (The workout durations can be shortened, and I’ll teach you how to maximize them!)

Macro tracking involves eating with the goal to hit your target for carbs, protein, and fat. There is no good and bad food as long as it fits your macros!
No, you will not be given a meal plan, but you will be given your macros or food groups as well as portion quantities to use as a daily guide. I will teach you the education behind meal plans. This way, you don’t need to be reliant on meal service providers to keep seeing the results.
However, if you prefer to get your meals from a provider, I suggest you give them your macros so they can tailor fit your food accordingly.
Yes! As long as you stick to 80% home-cooked or whole foods, you’ll eventually learn that you can use the remaining 20% for treats or fun foods.
No, but you can if you want to make things easier for you. We want to get our nutrition primarily from our food. If you can reach your protein goals without supplements, then you definitely don’t need to.
No, you will have the option of either weighing and logging food or using the plate method. I will teach you how to eat according to your activities, lifestyle, and needs, and you solidify these eating habits.
That depends on many things such as your current intake, diet history, current body fat percentage, as well as your goals. Full disclosure, some people cannot even go straight to fat loss because of their history of chronic dieting. We need to boost their metabolism first before they go on an active fat loss phase.
The goal of this program is to provide you with the tools to lose fat sustainably. This is not a crash diet. If we find out from your current intake that you are actually undereating and if you come from a history of chronic dieting, expect that I will not put you in an active fat loss phase. This is what will separate this program from all the fad diets you’ve followed in the past, and more importantly, this is what will make it sustainable for you. I refuse to be the coach who will wreck your metabolism.
The process and the educational component is basically the same as the one-on-one coaching. However, we do the teaching and recalibration as a group. The major advantage of group coaching is that you have the aspect of community. Lifestyle changes stick better when you have a tribe of like-minded individuals doing it with you. PLUS, you also get to learn from them!
